My name is Shuangmei Li, born in China in 1997. I received my PhD in Economics and Industrial Ecology from Central South University in 2024 and held a postdoctoral position at the City University of Hong Kong before I join the Chair of Ecological Resource Technology. My research focuses on sustainable metal cycle and material flow analysis.

What does your ideal Sunday look like?
Hiking with friends and sipping coffee at a sea-view café halfway up the mountain during the day and casually chatting with my parents at home in the evening.
What was your first impression of Bayreuth?
Fresh air, peaceful, safe, and cozy

A remote and beautiful county nestled in the mountains, renowned for its brick tea.
